LETTER: Nuclear power an undesirable energy source

Nuclear power is not a renewable fuel and it's not clean. The accumulation of nuclear waste on site for billions of years really makes nuclear power plants not desirable.
Solar energy, wind power and hydroelectric plants can be used for more energy. Also, as in California, we can become more energy efficient. We really don't need a nuclear power plant for our energy needs.
