Legendary rock band The Eagles played Mizzou Arena on Tuesday night on its international tour. The tour will continue through six more states in the U.S. and 15 countries in Europe, culminating in July in Portugal.
Band members Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit played to an enthusiastic audience, many of whom were old enough to remember the group’s heyday in the 1970s.
Columbia resident and longtime Eagles fan Rob Duncan said he related to the song “Desperado” since he spent many years overseas on his own, first in Thailand after service in Vietnam and later in Saudi Arabia as a Department of Defense contractor.
“When I go, that’s the song I’d like to have played at my funeral — that’s how I’ve lived. It’s universal. For everyone, it brings back memories.”

What does a rich person look like?
Well, my husband went, and we sure arent rich. I also see a housekeeper i know in that photo,wow, I didnt know they made so much money! People dont have to be rich to go see a concert! They just have to like the Eagles and figure out how to get a ticket.
Wish I could have seen it. Good music does not have racial or socioeconomic status!
