Boise, Idaho — Cornell hung close to Missouri in the first half, trailing 29-25 at the break, but Missouri's athleticism and defensive pressure proved to be too much in the end.
The third-seeded Tigers move on to face sixth-seeded Marquette on Sunday afternoon in the second round.
