LETTER: Barbara Hoppe always available to listen

As a result of the attempted illegal un-naming of Albert-Oakland Park, I have become familiar with all the City Council members.  The national labels of political party or ideology just don’t apply at the local level.  More important are hard work, dedication, availability and personal character.

Will your council person meet with you, listen to your concerns, and read your documents?  Doing so requires personal time and commitment.  It is the moral core of the individual that guides the decision-making process and action.  I have found Barbara Hoppe always available, hard working and dedicated.  Ms. Hoppe’s character is impeccable and her moral compass unfailing.  All Columbians owe her our thanks and gratitude.  I celebrate and support this excellent, hardworking representative of the Sixth Ward.  She has earned our respect and vote.
