COLUMBIA — A Columbia woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault after her husband told police she swung a knife at him and cut his hand, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

Bunnary Srey, 32, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action, the release said.

At 8:26 p.m., her 37-year-old husband told police Srey swung a knife at him, resulting in a cut across the back of his left hand, during an argument in the 2600 block of Oakmeadows Drive, the release said.

After the argument, the husband went to the Boone Hospital Center emergency room where he was treated for the cut, the release said.

Srey went to the Columbia Police Department where she was interviewed and arrested.
