LETTER: Hoppe proved her value to Sixth Ward in first term

Barbara Hoppe is the best person to represent the Sixth Ward. In her first term she has shown that she is extremely accessible, very thoughtful and does lots of research before making any decision. Obviously it is impossible to please everyone, but given these qualities and the fact that in her initial term she has gotten a chance to know the system and its workings, I believe it would be in the best interest of the Sixth Ward and the City of Columbia if she is re-elected.

Instead of starting over, taking the time to get someone else over the learning curve, let’s elect the seasoned, reasoned incumbent.
