LETTER: Barbara Hoppe a big-picture thinker

We need Barbara Hoppe’s voice on the City Council. She is smart, dedicated to Columbia’s present and future, organized, prepared and energetic. Please join me in voting for Barbara Hoppe.

Barbara is a great communicator and works well with various neighborhood groups as well as other City Council members and city staff.  

Barbara is a big-picture thinker and also gets into the details so that she can better understand the issues and possible actions. She is good at considering social, economic, environmental and other factors as she works toward solutions. Barbara might not always agree with individuals or groups, but she always conveys respect for all parties.

As a Sixth Ward resident and president of the East Campus Neighborhood Association, I believe that Barbara has represented us well. She has met and exceeded our expectations for a City Council representative.
