LETTER: Rod Robison will bring balance to City Council

Chuck and Sue Franklin, Columbia
As neighbors in the Shepard area, we have known Rod Robison and his family for many years. We were thrilled to hear he was running for the Columbia City Council’s Sixth Ward and have supported him throughout his campaign.
Our current representation on the council is limited to a small but vocal minority of residents. Columbia needs the “balance” that Rod brings to the position. We were disappointed that Barbara Hoppe voted against the medical development on Old 63, a business that was a great fit for our medical community and a source of new jobs. We need council members who make decisions that are good for the entire community.

Rod is also tough on crime. His endorsement by the Police Officers Association is a testament to its high regard for him. Rod is fair, thoughtful and business-minded. We urge you to join us in voting for Rod Robison on April 7.
