Rod Robison has the hallmarks of a good leader: solid character, long-standing connection to his community and willingness to put the best interests of his community at the forefront of his decision-making.
I have known Rod for several years through work on the committee of a local Boy Scout troop. Rod has demonstrated his leadership and commitment to community by remaining active in the troop long after his son outgrew Scouts.

Rod’s effectiveness as a leader is evident in his ability to look at a situation from all aspects, putting personal feelings aside, to come to a solution that is best for all — whether a Boy Scout troop or the city of Columbia.
