Columbia College softball wins two

The Columbia College softball team won two games Saturday in the William Woods University Invitational in Fulton.

The Cougars (25-7) beat Drury 10-7 in eight innings and then defeated Union (Tenn.) 5-2. COlumbia College is ranked No. 24 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

In their first game, the Cougars' Kacey Rehagen hit a triple in the eight inning, scoring Tori Long. The Cougars added two insurance runs and held Drury in the bottom half.

Rehagen was 3-for-4 with a double, triple, two runs scored and three RBIs.

Rehagen was the winning pitcher in the Cougars' second game, striking out seven and allowing two earned runs against Union.
