Struggles continue for Missouri tennis team

Since starting the season 3-1 in Big 12 Conference play, the Missouri women's tennis team has endured a difficult stretch.

The Tigers (7-9, 3-5 Big 12) suffered their fourth straight loss Sunday, falling 5-2 to 32-ranked Texas (12-5, 8-0) in Austin, Texas.

Missouri picked up the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Mallory Weber and Jamie Mera highlighted the day with a 9-7 win at No. 1.

Mera also collected the Tigers' only singles victory.
