At last month’s NAIA national tournament in Kansas City, the Cougars unexpectedly reeled off four straight wins, before falling 77-61 in the championship game to Rocky Mountain College. Before the 2008-09 season, the Cougars program had never made it past the NAIA's Sweet 16.
Columbia College President Gerald Brouder and Cougars coach Bob Burchard will speak at the celebration about the team's 30-win season and late season run. The celebration is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
