Columbia police searching for two after convenience store robbery

COLUMBIA — Columbia police are searching for two men in connection with a robbery early Wednesday morning at the Break Time in west Columbia, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

At about 3:20 a.m., two men entered the convenience store at 2101 W. Ash St. and demanded money from the 19-year-old clerk, the release stated. The men told the clerk they were armed but did not show any weapons. The men left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, tobacco products and some Missouri Lottery products.

Both suspects were described as tall with thin builds.

The first man wore a black rain coat, blue jeans, gray gloves and white tennis shoes.

The other man wore a gray hooded sweat shirt, gray sweat pants, black boxer shorts, a red bandanna and black and white shoes.
