The Missouri baseball team made it close in the opening game of a doubleheader at Baylor, when it lost 8-7 in 11 innings.

But the Tigers were embarrassed in the nightcap, losing 19-0 by run-rule in seven innings.

No. 7 Baylor swept Missouri (17-19, 6-9 Big 12) on Saturday in Waco, Texas. In the lopsided second game, the Tigers allowed 17 hits, while managing just two themselves. Starter Nick Tepesch allowed 11 earned runs in 3.1 innings. Baylor starter Willie Kempf went seven innings, striking out 12 and walking none.

In the opener, the Bears' Dustin Dickerson hit a bases-loaded single to give Baylor the win, despite Missouri out-hitting the Bears 14-11. Freshman Conner Mach, junior Greg Folgia and sophomore Andrew Thigpen all had three hits. Junior Aaron Senne had two hits to give him five straight multi-hit games.
