A day after moving into first place in the Big 12 Conference, the Missouri softball team completed a two-game sweep of Oklahoma State on Saturday in Stillwater, Okla.
The No. 10 Tigers (36-5, 8-2 Big 12) scored a pair of runs in the first, second and seventh innings to beat the Cowgirls 6-1. Freshman pitcher Kristin Nottelmann threw a complete game, allowing five hits and striking out three.
Sophomore center fielder Rhea Taylor had three of Missouri's five hits. Taylor also scored a run and stole two bases. Sophomore catcher Megan Christopher hit a two-run home run in the seventh to give the Tigers plenty of breathing room.
Three Tigers were hit by pitches, with sophomore shortstop Abby Vock getting hit twice.
