JEFFERSON CITY — Vice President Joe Biden will be highlighting the military, alternative energy and higher education during three stops in Missouri this week.
The White House released details Tuesday night of Biden's two-day visit.
The vice president is scheduled to have lunch Thursday with troops at Whiteman Air Force Base.
Later that afternoon, Biden is to visit the ABB factory in Jefferson City to highlight how the federal stimulus law has created a market for the company's transformers for wind power plants.
On Friday, Biden is to host a task force meeting at the University of Missouri-St. Louis on ways to make college more affordable. Also scheduled for that event is Biden's wife, Jill, who is a college instructor.
