RAYTOWN — Police in the Kansas City suburb of Raytown have called reporters to discuss the unsolved slaying of four people almost a month ago.

A police announcement of Wednesday's 1 p.m. news conference did not disclose what would be discussed, such as arrests or new leads. Kansas City Congressman Emanuel Cleaver and former Mayor Pro Tem Alvin Brooks are scheduled to be there.

On March 16, the bodies of Andre Jones Sr., his girlfriend Precious Triplett and her nephews Amir Clemons and Gerard Clemons were found dead in the couple's apartment. Triplett's 18-month-old son was also there but was not harmed.

The boys — ages 10 and 7 — were on spring break and had spent the night at their aunt's home.

Few details of the crime have been released, including how the victims were killed.
