The Rock Bridge girls soccer team lost its first game but won its second game on Saturday in the Kickapoo Shootout in Springfield to improve its record to 4-6.
In the first game, the Bruins fell to Rockwood Summit 4-0. However, in the second game, they ended their two-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over Glendale.
In the second game, Rock Bridge's first goal came in the 18th minute by freshman Carmen Boessen, while the second goal came from senior Kelsey Eckenrode in the 30th minute. Sophomore goalie Carrie Levy recorded the shutout for the Bruins.
The Bruins' next game is scheduled for Thursday at Blue Valley Northwest.
