COLUMBIA — Between 11:20 p.m. and 2:40 a.m. Saturday night, the Boone County Sheriff's Department conducted a sobriety check on Shalimar Drive and Missouri 763.
Police checked 233 vehicles, according to a press release from theSheriff's Department. Among other actions taken, there were six arrests for driving while intoxicated, six arrests for driving with a suspended or revoked drivers license, four summons issued for failure to carry insurance, one arrest for possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and one felony warrant arrest
The Hallsville Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted the Sheriff's Department.
