Victims say men burglarized wrong house

COLUMBIA — Victims of a robbery at 707 Old Plank early Sunday morning think that three perpetrators robbed the wrong house. The perpetrators referred to the victims by the wrong names.

A press release from the Columbia Police Department states that the robbers were three slender males in dark clothing between the ages of 16 and 17, armed with rifles and threatened to shoot the victims. Electronic devices and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen from the home.

The incident was reported at 12:47 a.m. Sunday. Any tips should be submitted to the Crimestoppers Web site. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and you may be eligible for an award up to $1,500 if the information leads to an arrest.
