PrintCOLUMBIA — Police arrested two Columbia residents Tuesday on drug-related charges following a search of a home, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.
At 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, Columbia police and the Mid-Missouri Unified Strike Team and Narcotics Group searched an apartment at 213 Willow Way, where officers found nearly 20 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and approximately 23 grams of marijuana, according to the release. Drug paraphernalia and evidence of ongoing drug use were located throughout the apartment.
The resident of the apartment, Jason Wolfe, 31, and a woman who was there, Elizabeth Aronson, 20, were both taken into custody without incident, the release said.
Wolfe was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Aronson was taken into custody for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, the bond had yet to be set for Aronson and Wolfe, said Tanya Jones of the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
