ST. LOUIS — Former Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt will join the law and consulting firm headed by former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft.
The Ashcroft Group said Thursday it is expanding its homeland security consulting team and Blunt will be based out of its St. Louis office.
Blunt's term as governor ended in January. He began working in February for a Washington, D.C., lobbying firm called Cassidy and Associates. He also is an adviser for a private equity firm led by a son of unsuccessful GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
The Ashcroft Group also said that Michael Sullivan, a former U.S. attorney and former acting director of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will join the group in Boston.
