Blaine Dalton, a freshman quarterback for the MU football team, was arrested by the Columbia Police Department at 11:07 p.m. Thursday, according to Maj. Tom Reddin of the Boone County Sheriff's Department.
Reddin said Dalton was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $4,500. Dalton made bail and was released from Boone County Jail by 2:40 a.m., Reddin said.
