I believe 21-year-old students in this country are as responsible as older adults. Concealed carry laws have been enacted for a number of years in almost all the states in our country. The statistics show no increase in firearm-related crime by persons issued concealed carry permits. There is no reason to believe students — or professors, for that matter — who go through the required training and background checks to obtain a concealed carry permit will pose any greater threat on campus than they would anywhere else.

21 year old missouri residents can already get a concealed carry permit, just not one issued by the state of missouri. You can get a non-resident permit from the states of Utah and/or Florida. Utah's permit is actually cheaper than the missouri permit. These permits are fully honored by the state of Missouri
