COLUMBIA – After serving a search warrant, police arrested two people for drug-related charges around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.
Officers searching the residence at 607 N. Fourth St. found a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, a small amount of powdered cocaine, and an unmarked pill bottle. According to the release, the bottle contained several types of prescription pills including Valium, oxycodone, morphine, methadone and Xanax.
Heather Hopper was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and felony distribution of a controlled substance. Roemaile Robinson was arrested on suspicion of felony distribution of a controlled substance, according to the release.
