COLUMBIA — Police responded to multiple incidents, ranging from DWIs to public urination, during increased patrolling around MU this graduation weekend.

MU Police Capt. Brian Weimer said extra local officers were on duty from 11 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday to provide a safe environment for students, residents and guests during graduation celebrations.

Police arrested 11 people on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Other incidents included four minors in possession, five red light violations, two cases of possession of false identification and two public urination arrests, Weimer said.
