COLUMBIA – Westbound Interstate 70 will close down one lane on Thursday at the Route O/J overpass, around mile 116, and the Perche Creek overpass, around mile 120, from 7 p.m. to around midnight, according to Jennifer Ranabargar of the Missouri Department of Transportation. Crews will be closing a lane in order to stripe the center line, weather permitting.
Striping may continue on Friday, May 29, from 7 p.m. to midnight.
On Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, crews plan to stripe the center line of westbound I-70 from Route 740 in Columbia to the Missouri River Bridge. They will begin at Route 740 and move toward the bridge, closing one lane as they go.
