COLUMBIA — The Salvation Army will sponsor a community rummage sale to benefit United Way agencies from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday on the east side of MU's Memorial Stadium.

The third annual Tiger Treasures will include items such as clothing, appliances, linens and carpeting collected from MU's residence halls, fraternities and sororities. Entrance to the sale from 6 to 7 a.m. will cost $5 and will be free from 7 a.m. to noon.

"A lot of the stuff we have is brand new, stuff still in the original plastic," volunteer coordinator Denise Gilmore said. "Anything that wasn't in good condition we already got rid of."
