RICHMOND — An Arkansas man accused of killing his wife and daughter nearly 23 years ago has pleaded not guilty to two charges of first-degree murder.
Ronald Wrisinger was arrested Wednesday at his home in Marble Falls, Ark., and was returned Friday morning to Richmond, where he made his initial court appearance and entered his plea.
The 67-year-old is accused of killing 40-year-old Sherry Wrisinger and their daughter, 16-year-old Johnna, in 1986. The two victims disappeared on June 6 that year and police didn't find out about it until Ronald Wrisinger's brother filed a police report three months later.
Wrisinger was being held in Ray County on $500,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Wednesday.
