The Rock Bridge Bruins dropped their consolation game matchup 5-3 to DeSoto.
DeSoto scored three runs in the first inning, two on a double by firstbaseman Bradon O'Day, who went three-for-three on the game.
With the loss, the Bruins finish fourth in the Class 4 state tournament. Ft. Zumwalt South, which beat Rock Bridge in Friday's opener, won the tournament with an 8-4 win over Lee's Summit North in the championship game.
