City Council to discuss Citizen Police Review Board

COLUMBIA — The City Council will hold a special meeting Monday concerning the Citizens Police Review Board, which would work as a go-between for Columbia residents and the Columbia Police Department.

The public will be able to review and discuss the proposed legislation that would establish the review board, according to a news release from the city.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the City Council Chambers, which is on the fourth floor of the Daniel Boone Building, located at 701 E. Broadway.

The meeting will also be broadcast live on the City Channel.

It might go over great if they do not just have the hob nobbing elitist good ole boys and girls as the main core and overall panel.
