COLUMBIA —Columbia police arrested a woman Thursday after an argument on the street between two groups of people turned physical in a woman's yard at 1102 Garth Ave.
Tavon L. Harris, 20, was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance by fighting and going on the property, police said.
Samara Eagen, who lives at 1102 Garth Ave., said the fracas wasn't the first in recent weeks. “Kids have been terrorizing the street for the last week or so, jumping people and hitting people,” she said.
Columbia Police Officer Roger Allen, who was at the scene of the incident, said there have been "several disturbances from Business Loop through Garth” lately.
