COLE CAMP — Investigators working to solve the murders of three family members in rural Missouri are looking for information about a pickup truck that was seen near the family's home two days before the bodies were found.

The bodies of 15-year-old Taron Luetjen and her grandparents — Donald Luetjen and Sharon Luetjen — were found June 9 at their home in Cole Camp, a community of about 1,000 people about 115 miles southeast of Kansas City. They each died of a single gunshot wound.

Stormy Walker, Cole Camp police chief, said in a letter to the local newspaper that a light-colored Chevrolet S10 pickup with a fitted camper shell was seen near the home on Sunday, June 7. He also said three or four men were seen talking to Donald Luetjen in his front yard that afternoon, and there was a report of a man in a white hooded sweatshirt at a nearby park that day.

Walker asked the public to contact police if they knew anything about the pickup or the men who were seen Sunday.
