Columbia Fire Department: Near-drowning victim in critical condition

A 22-year-old female was in critical condition Thursday night after being rescued from the bottom of a pool at Tara Apartments, according to a news release from the Columbia Fire Department.

The victim was taken to University Hospital. Her name had not been released as of 11:40 p.m. Thursday.
