ST. CHARLES — St. Charles County officials say a farmer discovered a dead woman's body in a drainage ditch, and they are investigating the case as a homicide.
The county sheriff's department says 30-year-old Jill LaRose's body was found Wednesday evening. Her car was found about 15 miles away near Frontier Park in St. Charles.
Police say LaRose spoke to her sister on the phone Wednesday afternoon.
A cause of death has not been determined.
