Callaway County and southern Boone County are to remain under a flood warning until noon Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Several roads in and around Columbia and Ashland remained closed shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, the Weather Service stated in a news release.

The warning stems from heavy rainfall early Saturday morning, the Weather Service stated. Waters are expected to recede Sunday.
