Is this a coincidence? On July 6, about 27 people (plus four dogs) went to the KOMU/Channel 8 station to remind station Manager Marty Siddall how much Paul Pepper and friends have meant to the community over the 27 years they have been on the air.
We presented his representative with more than 2,700 signatures asking that the program be retained.

We estimate at least 27,000 people have been on the program over the past 27 years with nearly 27 programs per month.
Paul Pepper and James (Mouser) must have been responsible for the placement of at least 270 dogs and cats per year. For 27 years, "Pepper and Friends" has done a great deal of good in the community.
