ST. LOUIS — A forum in St. Louis will explore the link between climate change and America's national and energy security.
The event was scheduled to take place Thursday at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. Guests include former Republican Sen. John Warner of Virginia and Eric Greitens, a Navy SEAL from Missouri who's also a former humanitarian aid worker.
The forum is sponsored by the Pew Project on National Security, Energy and Climate.
Organizers said that left unchecked, global warming could lead to civil strife, genocide, conflicts over resources and increased terrorism.
