Columbia Audubon Society holds coloring contest for kids

The Columbia Audubon Society is holding a coloring contest for those ages 5 to 15. It features a male ruby-throated hummingbird.

The page to be colored is available at Songbird Station, 2010 Chapel Plaza Court; the Wild Bird Center, 2703 E. Broadway; and on the society's Web site, columbia-audubon.missouri.org.

Prizes are to include bird feeders, bird flash cards and a Bird-opoly game.

The contest has two age groups: 5 to 10 and 11 to 15. Submissions must be postmarked by Aug. 31 and mailed to Columbia Audubon Society, P.O. Box 1331, Columbia, MO 65201-1331.
