Prize goats, pageants, tractor pulls and country cured ham competitions are all popular events at the Boone County Fair. One of the more popular evenings at the fair this year was wristband night on Wednesday. It was an evening when families, lovers and friends could get together for an inexpensive evening of adrenaline, fair games and good family fun.

Baby bunny rabbits are being treated inhumanely by the traveling carnies at this fair.
Send a message to the managers of this event by finding something else to do this year.

Nope, not all night long, only until 10 PM and it was communicated (and run) poorly from what I heard. My comment below from the Tribune:
Well congratulations Boone County Fair for making my older son say "I don't want to go to the Boone County Fair next year" and the younger one mumble something about needing a ticket as I put him in bed asleep. If you're going to cut off the wristbands at 10 sharp, it might behoove you to have the folks running the rides fill all the cars each and every ride, and not make little kids mad at the fair. Kids will remember waiting 25 minutes standing in line to ride something fun, then being denied when they would have been the next folks on. The cynic in me wonders if it isn't a ploy to make parents shell out $4/ride to mollify the cranky kids.
