ST. LOUIS — Gov. Jay Nixon has announced more than $4 million in grants to fund technology in schools.
The Democrat announced the grants Tuesday in St. Louis. The grants are funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Nixon said most grant recipients will use the funds to enhance or add new computers and technology to their classrooms, or for teacher training.
Columbia schools will receive $199,989.
