LICKING—Officials say the bodies of two young boys who were reported missing early Sunday evening have been found in a river near their home.
Texas County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Dunn says the Missouri Water patrol found the first body near a boat ramp, and the second was spotted by a Highway Patrol helicopter about 100 yards away.
Dunn says the boys are believed to have wandered off and ended up in the river, which flows about 100 yards from their home.
The boys, 7-year-old Jessie Bagley and 4-year-old Wyatt, were reported missing about 5 p.m. Sunday.
Dunn says foul play is not suspected, but autopsies were being performed on Tuesday to determine how the boys died.
