COLUMBIA — Police are searching for two men who robbed a resident of a house in the 3100 block of Pioneer Drive in northeast Columbia early Tuesday morning, according to a news release.
About 1:45 a.m., two men wearing bandanas over their faces forced open the door of the home, awaking the resident, the release said. One of the men brandished a handgun and struck the resident in the head with it. The men took some clothing and cash, Sgt. Ken Hammond of the Columbia Police Department said. After the robbers left, the victim phoned the police.
