JEFFERSON CITY — Attendance for the first three days of the Missouri State Fair is up 15 percent from 2008.
The governor's office reported Tuesday that nearly 110,000 people attended the fair Thursday through Saturday last week. Almost half of that came on Thursday when the State Fair started with a $1 admission charge. But attendance for the fair's first three days were higher than each of those days in 2008.
