COLUMBIA — A Harrisburg man died in an all-terrain-vehicle crash at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday. Brandon L. Winn was pronounced dead at the scene at West Stidham Road and North Richardson Drive.
The 26-year-old left a party Saturday night in a 2004 Arctic Cat four-wheeler, Boone County Sheriff's Deputy Brian Leer said. He said the vehicle didn't belong to Winn but would not name the owner.
People at the party began to search for Winn about 45 minutes after he left, Leer said. Authorities were dispatched at 12:36 a.m.
According to a news release, the ATV was southbound on Richardson Drive when it ran off the left side of the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle overturned and stopped when it hit the tree line, about a fifth of a mile north of Stidham Road West.
Winn was not wearing a helmet or any other form of riding gear, Leer said.
The sheriff's department had not received a toxicology report on the victim, Leer said.

Does anyone know if this is the Brandon of Lonnie Ray's BBQ in Harrisburg?
No this is not the Brandon from Lonnie Ray's.
Thanks, Amanda! I know Brandon - and his many former haircuts :) - but I don't recall his last name.
