COLUMBIA — A two-car collision in east Columbia sent two to the hospital with minor injuries.
Thomas Weeks of Fulton said he was rounding a curve in his green 1995 Jeep when the dampness of the road caused his car to skid toward a ditch on the right side of St. Charles Road. Weeks over-corrected and turned into the oncoming lane of traffic, where a minivan collided with the passenger side of his car.
The couple in the minivan, Louis and Billie Tritsehler of Columbia, were taken to an area hospital, said Gene Williams, Columbia police community service aide. Louis Tritsehler, who was driving, had various cuts. His wife Billie Tritsehler had lacerations and a possible broken arm.
Weeks was not injured.
