Fighting for 'Pepper and Friends'

Dennis Kackley, Chris Atkinson, Brett Prentiss and Richard Beckett follow Nancy Atkinson, center, as she leads the group of 40 protesters against the cancellation of NBC-affiliate KOMU's "Pepper and Friends" with Paul Pepper on Monday at Jesse Hall on the MU campus. Atkinson has been protesting the cancellation of the television show since the original announcement, "It's consumed my whole summer, but it's for the best cause I know," she said.

About 40 protesters marched on the MU campus Monday to demonstrate their displeasure with NBC-affiliate KOMU's decision to cancel the local talk show "Pepper and Friends" starring Paul Pepper.
