JEFFERSON CITY — Gov. Jay Nixon has ordered that flags on state buildings in Wright County be flown at half-staff until Sunday to honor a soldier killed in Afghanistan.

Twenty-year-old Army Private First Class Jonathan Yanney of Norwood died on Aug. 18 while serving in Afghanistan.

Flags at state buildings throughout Missouri were also flown at half-staff on Monday, the day of his funeral.
