Columbia rider wins world quarter horse competition

Melissa Hood of Columbia and her horse Watch This Way captured the reining title on Tuesday at the American Quarter Horse Association's Bayer Select World Championship Show in Amarillo, Texas. The show is open to amateurs age 50-and-over.
Watch This Way is an 8-year-old sorrel stallion. Hood and Watch This Way scored a 217 in the reining final to win the title.
