The Tigers beat the Rams 7-1 at home on Friday.

COLUMBIA — The Missouri women’s soccer team sought redemption Friday in its game against Rhode Island after losing to DePaul last Sunday. The Tigers were ranked 11th in the country by Soccer America Magazine before dropping to 21st after the loss.

This time, Missouri’s offense dominated  throughout the game and led the team to a 7-1 victory over the Rhode Island.

Despite substitutions by Missouri to give freshmen some playing experience and a few last minute offensive opportunities for Rhode Island, the Tigers held onto their large lead and won the game.
